The Details and FAQs:
To ensure each project receives the attention it deserves, I only take on a select amount of wedding projects per season.
What printing services do you offer for invitations and details such as menu cards?
I love my clients, and with that in mind I offer various printing methods to meet different budgets. Printing options include: Flat printing (including on handmade paper), Letterpress, and Letterpress on Handmade Paper.
When should I start ordering day-of calligraphy pieces?
This will all depend on the scope of your project - but I also like to go with as much time as possible. Of course with things such as place cards, ordering will be confirmed later in the process because you won’t know your final guest count until closer to the wedding. BUT. It doesn’t hurt to be in contact as soon as possible so I can get you on my schedule. The sooner the better folks (even if all the details aren’t quite known yet - that’s totally okay).
Do you ship invitations straight to guests for clients?
Nope, here in the True North Paper Co. studio I stick to calligraphy. But I will gladly ship you your completed invitations once we are through the design process, you’ll just have to be the one to stick ‘em in the mailbox and get them on their way to your guests.
How far along in my wedding planning should I start ordering wedding invitations?
I like to say the sooner the better. Of course, you’ll have to have some details figured out before the designing process begins (such as venue, times, etc.), but it doesn't hurt to get in contact with me on the early side of things to ensure your spot in my schedule is locked and loaded.
How long does the custom wedding invitation process take?
Depending on the scope of your suite - wanting all the things from a custom three-piece suite with hand-addressed envelopes? The process could take anywhere from 6-12 weeks. If you’re needing something quicker, or your suite isn’t quite as involved, just contact me to get a time estimate.
Am I able to customize my day of pieces with ink colors and different paper type and colors?
Absolutely! Depending on ink colors (i.e. metallics) and paper type (i.e. handmade paper) the prices may change. These customizations are also dependent on the availability of ink and paper within your ideal time frame.
What about the calligraphy style?
Yup, we can have fun with this too! From a more traditional style, to more modern and organic - TNPC has you covered. All those details we would jump into down in the design/creating process.
